Karen Anne Ramsey VN

Practice Manager

Karen qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1994. 3 Mile Vet Centre is Karen’s second practice and she is now our Practice Manager. She is interested in dog behaviour, anaesthesia and all aspects of practice management. Karen has 2 cats called Stanley and Rupert. Rupert has only 3 legs after suffering a terrible accident as a kitten. Karen rescued him after he was abandoned by his owners.

Karen Nesbitt VN A1

Karen qualified in 1996 and holds a NVQ Level 3 Assessor Certificate which enables her to assess student Veterinary Nurses. She is our Head Nurse and joined the practice in January 2006. She has a particular interest in anaesthesia, radiography and Nurse Clinics. Karen has a cat called Alfie who she hand reared from 3 days old.

Emma Pryce VN

Emma joined the practice in July. She qualified as a RCVS veterinary nurse in 2005 and enjoys all aspects of nursing and theatre work. She particularly enjoys the running of nursing clinics within the practice, especially clinics for our senior pets. Emma has a Border terrier called Bunty. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hillwalking and keeping fit at the gym.
